gorilla’s are fun,
we ordered this gorilla costume for my husband. It was only 20 dollars more than renting one would cost,so we thought it was a great deal. As soon as it came he went and put it on, and then he started jumping around just like a gorilla does with his hands hanging to the ground and everything. No matter how hard we tried to show my 3 yr old girl that it was sjust her daddy, she couldn’t get over how real it looked. I would recomend it to anyone, it’s the best one I’ve found in it’s price range.

Great costume!,
The costume looked great and was a big hit! My girlfriend and I were going for a King Kong/Anne Darrow vibe, and this looked perfect for that.
Some minor complaints with it –
There was no way to connect the seams for the mask/neck, back, gloves or feet, so my skin was showing occasionally. I ended up using some adhesive velcro to make it look cleaner, but that came apart over the course of the night. I’d recommend permanently sewing velcro to the suit if you’re going to re-use it.
The mask doesn’t have quite enough breathing holes, so as I breathed, it got very moist and gross in there. I cut open the mouth on it to try and help, but even that didn’t do much.
The costume gets very hot, but that was to be expected. I mean, you’re essentially wearing a shagg carpet.

Sheds like crazy!,
The costume has no fly (important consideration, fellas – you will have to cut your own), and it sheds like crazy. Be prepared to piss of your roommate / spouse for the amount of black fuz this thing produces. Still, it’s better than most of the gorilla costumes out there – affordable, too.
